What this page covers
This page says what roundcabin.com stores when you use it, why, for how long, and how to have it erased. It covers the two forms on the site and the Cloudflare services the site uses. Nomad Inc., 8225 US-211, Luray, VA 22835, United States, operates this site and is responsible for that data, and [email protected] is the address for any question about it
The quote form
When you send the quote form we store what you typed: your name, business, country, email address, intended use, timing, whether you ticked the NomadOS box, and your message. With it we store the page you arrived on, the campaign tags in its address if there were any, the site that sent you without its query string, the country Cloudflare reads from your connection, your IP address and your browser's identification string. We store these so that we can reply to you with the spec and a quote, so that we can stop abuse of the form, and so that we know where inquiries come from
How it is stored
The record is encrypted before it is written and is held in Cloudflare's key-value store. One plain-text email alert with the fields you sent goes to our inbox through Resend so that a person can reply within 48 hours. The record keeps your ten most recent submissions and nothing older, and it is kept for 730 days from your latest submission. If you send the form again from the same email address, the record is updated and the 730 days start again. Your IP address is also hashed and counted for one hour to limit repeat submissions, and that counter holds nothing else
The no-contact form
When you ask for no further contact we store an encrypted pending request for seven days and send a confirmation link to the address you gave. When you confirm, your quote-form record is deleted and only a one-way hash of your email address is kept, so that the same address can be recognised and stopped if it is submitted again without us holding the address itself
In your browser
The site sets no cookies. While you are on it, the campaign tags and the page you landed on are kept in your browser's session storage, so that they can travel with the form if you send it. That storage belongs to the tab you are using and is not carried into a later visit. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. Cloudflare Turnstile protects both forms and is covered by the Turnstile privacy policy
Who else sees it
Cloudflare hosts the site and holds the encrypted record. Resend sends the alert and the confirmation email. Google Workspace holds the inbox those alerts arrive in. Each of them handles the data only to run the service it provides. We do not sell it and we do not use it for anything beyond replying to you, stopping abuse and understanding where inquiries come from. If that changes, this page changes first
Erasure
Use the no-contact page, or write to [email protected] from the address you used, and the record is deleted. If you also wrote to us by email, say so and we delete that thread too
